Hi, I'm Nina

I’m a Seattle-based brand strategist who focuses on developing cultural expressions that transcend the status quo

As a brand strategist, I take a sociohistorical approach, looking for ideological opportunities and developing a strategy to meet customers' identity needs. The cultural strategy model gives B2B and B2C brands true differentiation in the market because it transcends the status quo of the category, provides identity value for the customer, and creates a platform that is hard for competitors to emulate.

I'm passionate about engaging in qualitative research to gain a deeper understanding of the consumer and the identity needs that drive their consumption behaviors. Determining the right myth and codes results in a cultural expression that's true to the history and values of the brand and forges a profound connection with the consumer. This expression is then integrated across internal and external touchpoints.

I'm interested in leading the evolution of brands within purpose-driven companies. I am also open to working with consulting firms, ad agencies, VC/PE firms, and startup studios who are regularly involved in developing or reimagining the brand strategy for companies in their portfolios.
